Hey, my name is Ruan Lamprecht
Photography wasn’t something I planned on pursuing... it just kinda found me.
In 2019, I picked up our household camera out of curiosity and started photographing anything I could find. What began as experimentation quickly turned into an obsession with visual storytelling.
Over the past five years, that curiosity has grown into a professional career. I’ve worked across portraits, couples, families, commercial projects, motorsport, events, and nature. Each discipline sharpening the way I see, compose, and tell stories through imagery.
What excites me most about photography is connection. Whether it’s a quiet portrait, a fast-paced race, or a brand telling its story visually, I focus on creating images that feel intentional, honest, and impactful.
Based in George, in the heart of the Garden Route, I’m fortunate to call one of South Africa’s most diverse landscapes my workspace. It constantly challenges me to evolve creatively, and that drive to improve is something I bring into every shoot.
